Acceptable Use Policy

Effective September 24, 2026.

Customers may not use Absorb software to give AI agents access they are not authorized to grant, or to cause harm through the APIs it exposes. This policy is part of the Master Software License and Services Agreement between Absorb.dev LLC ("Absorb") and each customer.

1. Prohibited uses

You will not use the Software to:

  1. Expose APIs, systems, or data you do not own or are not authorized to expose to AI agents.
  2. Gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data, or circumvent another party's authentication, rate limits, or access controls.
  3. Collect or process personal data without a lawful basis, or in breach of privacy or data protection laws.
  4. Carry out fraud, phishing, spam, or deceptive practices.
  5. Develop, deploy, or operate malware, or attack, disrupt, or degrade any system or network.
  6. Make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people without the human review and notices the law requires.
  7. Facilitate the development of weapons capable of mass casualties, or activities that violate sanctions or export controls.
  8. Infringe or misappropriate intellectual property or other rights.
  9. Harass, threaten, or harm people, or process content that sexually exploits minors.
  10. Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party API terms.

2. Customer controls

You are responsible for the policies, allowlists, credentials, and approval rules you configure, and for the agents and models you connect. You should apply least privilege, require approval for high-impact operations, keep audit logging on, and review policies before production use.

3. Third-party models and APIs

If you connect third-party AI models or APIs, you must also follow their usage policies and terms. Absorb is not responsible for their outputs or actions.

4. Reporting

Report suspected misuse of Absorb software to [email protected] and security issues to [email protected].

5. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe you are breaching this policy, we may require you to stop, suspend Support and Updates, or terminate your license under the Agreement. Where practical, we will give notice and a chance to cure first.
